EVEREST REINSURANCE PROFILE SUMMARY Everest Re Group, Bermuda contracted Commercial Technology to provide turnkey AV communications and Sound Masking systems to cover new construction within two buildings spanning four floors at their US HQ building in Warren, NJ. Working closely with Everest Re’s IT group, Commercial Technology deployed various AV systems in various collaboration spaces, multipurpose, and training rooms. All of these AV systems are centered around CISCO Webex. The client demanded feature-rich, easy-to-use systems for presentations and video conferencing calls via wired and wireless and BYOD connectivity. Commercial Technology works very closely with both the AV and Acoustic consultant to achieve a world-class AV system. The client’s demands for the highest quality audio and video for their boardroom was a critical success factor for this entire project. Commercial Technology partnered with jones Lang Lasalle to develp and execute an upgrade plan to modernize the security operation at the historical Socony-Mobil Building in NYC. New servers, analog video encoders, and cameras were provided and installed. NJEDA PROFILE SUMMARY Low voltage contract to include the major Disciplines – IT, AV & Sound Masking. PROJECT OVERVIEW NJ Department of Health contracted Commercial Technology to provide turnkey AV communications and Sound Masking systems covering new construction on eight floors at their location in Trenton, NJ. The system design benefited from the AV being within the network’s core (Crestron NVX/ Netgear). Microsoft-based rooms, including huddle spaces, open public spaces, executive director board rooms, and large multipurpose training rooms, are all part of the Network AV infrastructure. Microsoft Team-based video conferencing, presentations, wired and wireless, and BYOD (Bring Your Own Device) were key parts of the requirements. The commissioner’s request for employees to be agile was critical to the design. A sound masking system was designed and deployed to support productivity in the open office environment designs from floor to floor. Security System Installation: Installed a comprehensive intrusion detection system, including motion detectors, door contacts, keypads, and glass break detectors. Deployed a networked surveillance system with 360-degree cameras, dome cameras, and dual-imager cameras for complete coverage. Integrated new access control doors into the existing S2 security system. Installed a 12TB hard drive network video recorder for security footage storage. SCOPE OF WORK Display Installation: A 9.9’ x 11.1’ Planar LED video wall with a 1.5 MGP resolution. Content Delivery: Integration of a cloud-based signage player for static logo display and visual branding (content managed by the client). Design Collaboration: Worked closely with Studio 1200 to incorporate functional and aesthetic considerations: Spacing for passive airflow to ensure optimal performance. Easy access for future display servicing. Precision sizing to align with custom millwork. Strategic placement for harmony with glass railings and overall architectural design. Training: Provided client training for content management via the signage player. System Commissioning: Full system installation and commissioning, ensuring seamless operation.
