PRINCETON UNIVERSITY PROFILE SUMMARY
We are actively upgrading classrooms across campus to meet the current standards set by the university AV services. These improvements include implementing state-of-the-art local presentation systems with integrated microphones for seamless in-room voice reinforcement, as well as offering robust remote learning functionality to ensure an exceptional educational experience for all.
PROJECT OVERVIEW
A total of 8 rooms were updated in the summer of 2023. CTCI installed, configured, and programmed small, medium, and large classrooms to allow professors to display their lessons via wired and wireless sources to students inside and out of the room. An Extron control system allows users to adjust video routing, volume, camera position, and recording of lectures. Some rooms utilized the Extron MediaPort which allows users to use any soft conferencing application (Zoom, Teams, Webex) to create a remote learning environment. A 1Beyond auto-tracking camera system was installed in a staff training room to accurately track a speaker in any seat in the room. Wireless & wired Shure microphones provide in-room voice lift as well as video conferencing.
