BELLEVILLE MUNICIPAL COURT
PROFILE SUMMARY
BELLEVILLE MUNICIPAL COURT PROFILE SUMMARY
Informed citizens are the backbone of any democracy. The COVID Pandemic shone a light on the importance of government effectively communicating with the constituency. The pandemic also created new stress points because meetings could not or would not be attended in person by the citizens of Belleville.
Belleville sought an Audio-Visual system that was flexible. Their main town chambers were also used as the Municipal Court. The system needed meet the needs of Council Meetings as well as Court proceedings.
Belleville sought to simulcast the council meetings more effectively. This would allow residents who could not or would not attend a meeting in person to see and hear what was being discussed. The solution provided by CTCI enabled the Belleville to simulcast their meetings through the town’s website.
The system needed to be able to broadcast what was happening in the main chambers to an overflow room in the town Hall.
